The Walla Walla Walleye picked up a win at Walleye Tank, knocking off the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 2-1. Starting pitcher Steve de Regt played a key role in the triumph. Haweeyo Nasteexo nailed down his 6th save. The Walleye go to 33-36, putting them 6th in the Premier A.
Early in the game, first baseman Ánibal Arroyo had a solo home run for Walla Walla. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Walleye on top, 1-0.
