In a tight game between the Chicago Gold Sox and the York Revolution, pitcher Hakumele Apelama was terrific on the mound. The Chicago right-hander was named the player of the game in Chicago's 3-1 win. The Gold Sox go to 21-28, putting them 9th in the Premier A.

Chicago took a 2-1 lead on Ralph Titus's 45th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Titus hit in the bottom of the seventh, left York pitcher Lee Tucker shaking his head.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Titus said.
