The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC got a superb performance from third baseman Hsi-men King, but the Nashville Outlaws still won the game, 7-4. King was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 2-2 with 2 singles and 2 walks. Nashville, now 9-5, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Nashville used the timely hitting of Tom Burton to capture the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Outlaws on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"We take it day by day here," said Burton, "and today was a good one for us."
