Walleye Shut Out Blaze
|
The South Beach Blaze and Walla Walla Walleye were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Walleye Tank.
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 23-year old shortstop Elroy Hartman, the Walla Walla Walleye stopped the South Beach Blaze, 4-0. The 8th-place Walleye now have a 5-game winning streak.
The tide might have turned with two out in the top of the fourth, had not Moriz Gaidamakin made a big pitch. With the bases loaded and the Blaze trailing 3-0, he retired Roldão Cintra, who flied out.
