The Chicago Tula went down to defeat to John Combs and his York teammates. The final score was 1-0 in favor of the Revolution. Marcus Morgan closed the door for York, picking up his 4th save of the year. With the win, the Revolution have a record of 12-16.
Early in the game, shortstop Scott Fields had a run-scoring double for York. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Revolution on top, 1-0.
Combs said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
