Qiu Dazzles in Buffalo Win
In a tight battle between the Buffalo White Walkers and the D.C. Divided, pitcher Zhao-ji Qiu was in the zone. The Buffalo left-hander was named the player of the game in Buffalo's 3-1 win. The defending champion White Walkers have struggled a bit to find their groove this season, but improve to 6-6 with the win.

Qiu's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 9 strikeouts in 7.2 innings while allowing 4 hits. Qiu, who finished 2nd in the SL in innings pitched with 151.2 in 2036, goes to 2-0 on the year with 18 strikeouts.

"Not to be Captain Obvious," said D.C. manager Jonathan Gerth, "but we need to push more runs across the plate."
