The Delaware 1787 BC picked up a win at Carrier Field, knocking off the York Revolution, 2-0. Starting pitcher Pepe Fontirroig played a key role in the triumph. Santiago Morán was called on to finish, recording his 4th save. The 1787 BC raised their record to 9-12.
Fontirroig was in the zone all game. He frustrated York hitters while giving the 1787 BC 8 innings of quality work. Fontirroig threw 107 pitches, allowing 5 hits and getting 10 punchouts.
