The Walleye had to overcome a fine effort from Rocky Mountain pitcher Neil Young to grab a narrow 4-3 win at Bellevue Field. Young went 6 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Walla Walla reliever Tekoa Kinsinger got the win, raising his record to 1-2. José Martínez was tagged with the loss. The loss lowers the Rocky Mountain record to 11-4.

This game was not decided until late. With no one out in the top of the ninth, John Hawley drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Walleye took the lead, 4-3.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Rocky Mountain manager Willie Mitchell.
