South Beach starter Sergio Tacuri had a strong outing against the Myrtle Beach Seahawks at Seahwaks Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Jelexiz Verano closed it out for his 2nd save. South Beach, now 8-5, has played well in the early going.

South Beach used the timely hitting of Rovilson Rosete to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Blaze on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Tacuri attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
