The Myrtle Beach Seahawks dealt the Galesburg Guzzlers a 7-3 loss at Galesburg Field. Kyle Goodbrand was the star on offense. He went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times. The win moves Myrtle Beach to a record of 3-2.

Myrtle Beach used the timely hitting of Abel Risinger to capture the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Seahawks on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.
