Patrick Smythe pitched a gem to lead Lake Erie to a 6-1 victory over the Eugene Vandals. The save went to Don Murray, his 1st this season. The last-place Vandals have lost 4 consecutive games.

The Arryns got a lift from second baseman Nick Payne who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the sixth inning off Marcos Velásquez. It was his 41st walk of the season and put Lake Erie in front, 2-1.
