Pitts Helps Hawks Run Win Streak to 3

Laredo played host to Eugene at the friendly confines of Hawks Field.
The Laredo Hawks bested the Eugene Vandals by a score of 9-3, with second baseman Paul Pitts getting the main credit. On the day, Pitts went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Hawks. Eugene has now lost 5 in a row.
Jessie Gibbs had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the fifth for Laredo. With the bases loaded and the Hawks leading 3-2, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
