Expos Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Arryns
The Niagara Falls Expos beat the Lake Erie Arryns, 5-0, at Waterfall Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of right fielder Frank Tatum, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Juan Santos picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Alberto Cruz was tagged with the loss. With the win, Niagara Falls goes to 31-31, while the Arryns fall to 38-24.

Tatum came through with some timely hitting for Niagara Falls. With the score 0-0 in the bottom of the fourth and two down, Tatum hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring double. His 13th double of the season made it 1-0, Niagara Falls.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Niagara Falls skipper Terry Stokes.
