Riding the 4-hit performance of the 20-year old first baseman Buretaua Taati, the Niagara Falls Expos stopped the Eugene Vandals, 5-2. Curt Pless earned the save for Niagara Falls, his 6th of the year. The Expos now have a mark of 28-28.

Taati had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch fastball from Marcos Velásquez, he banged a 2-run double to left-center, giving the Expos a 3-2 lead. It was the 9th double of the year for Taati.

"We did enough to win," said Taati.
