White Walkers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Mockingbirds
The Mississippi Mockingbirds got a superb performance from second baseman Rylen Roersma. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Buffalo. The White Walkers won the game, 5-4. In spite of the loss, Roersma was named the player of the game. He was 4 for 5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. The loss drops Mississippi to 0-4.

Buffalo used the timely hitting of Daryl Yandell to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the White Walkers on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Mississippi manager Beau Carsten. "The effort was great."
