Losing Streak Continues for Vandals with 10-1 Loss to Hawks
Getting an impressive start from Ed Alexander, Laredo beat Eugene by the score of 10-1. Alexander, the winner, moves to 2-2. He threw 6 innings of 1-hit ball, while fanning 10 and giving up 2 walks. The Hawks have now won 4 straight.

The Hawks got a big boost from second baseman Paul Pitts who had a run-scoring ground out in the top of the second inning off Vandals hurler Juan Sandoval. It was his 13th RBI of the season and put Laredo on top, 1-0.
