Hawks Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
The Laredo Hawks coasted to a win over the Eugene Vandals, 10-3. Robby Long had a good day at the plate for Laredo. He was 2-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Reliever Dave Hamilton picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Marcos Velásquez took the loss. Laredo now has a 3-game win streak.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the 12th, Asberry Harpending hit a sacrifice fly. The Hawks took the lead, 4-3.
