Storm Stymie Eugene, Take 3-1 Win
|
Syracuse Storm starter Chun-yeong Byung-Ho pitched a strong game against the Eugene Vandals at The Riot Zone, leading the Storm to a 3-1 win. Rich Young sewed up the save, his 5th. The Storm bumped their record to 12-9 with this latest triumph.
Syracuse used the timely hitting of Brian Harmon to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Storm on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Harmon told the Syracuse Times.
