Expos Roll to 8-1 Win Over Vandals
|
Frank Tatum made an impact in the 8-1 Niagara Falls win over Eugene. Tatum was 2 for 5 with a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Niagara Falls reliever Yuto Inugami picked up the win to move to 1-0. Jesús Bonilla suffered the loss. Marty Sorensen earned the save for Niagara Falls, his 1st of the year.
Tatum came through with some timely hitting for Niagara Falls. With the score 2-1 in the top of the fifth and two down, Tatum hit a 2-0 fastball for a bases-clearing double. His 3rd double of the season made it 5-1, Niagara Falls.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Niagara Falls manager Terry Stokes.
