Rainbow Mermaids Fall Short at New Orleans
The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win at The Voodoo Lounge today.

The New Orleans Voodoo topped the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 4-3, in United States Premier League action at The Voodoo Lounge. The player of the game was New Orleans pitcher and Bronx, New York native Ralph Greer. Losses have been few and far between for the Rainbow Mermaids so far this season. Their record drops to 8-3.

Tim Burney tagged a home run off Brewster Warble in the bottom of the tenth. His solo blast put the Voodoo on top, 4-3. In all, Burney had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Put a star next to this win," Burney said.
