Pitcher Jerry Cherry was sensational for the Put-In-Bay BC in his team's 1-0 triumph over the Grand Forks Caterpillars. Cherry received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Bailey Borrett converted his 4th save in 5 tries. Put-In-Bay has now reeled off 9 straight wins.
Cherry, who was born in Baltimore, Maryland, threw 105 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no earned runs.
