Torch Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
Larry Walsh was superb against Belleville. The right-hander, who is tied for 8th in the 3A with a 1.08 WHIP, had a changeup that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 3-0 Torch victory. The winner was Mancelona reliever Kenzaburo Hakui, now 4-11. The loser was Mike Johnson. Belleville has now lost 4 straight.

Cristóbal Arroyo hit a 3-run home run off Javier Valdéz in the bottom of the 13th, which put the Torch ahead, 3-0. In addition to the homer, Arroyo had 1 double, while going 2 for 6.
