Kennesaw Jets starter Tim Tate was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Columbia River Rats, 9-1. Tate got the win, improving to 10-4. He allowed 5 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. Tate allowed 1 earned run. Kennesaw is now 43-31.

Kennesaw used the timely hitting of Troy Clark to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Jets ahead, 3-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was an important one.
