Hops Get 5-3 Win Versus Ft. Polk South
The Yakima Hops topped the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 5-3, with third baseman Ezra Booth playing a big role. Booth was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Hops in the win. The Hops improve their record to 28-33 with the win over Ft. Polk South.

Booth had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-1 cutter from Bailey Achurch, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Hops a 5-3 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Booth.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Ft. Polk South manager John Anderson. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
