Ollerton Helps Mercer Island Cruise to 10-3 Win
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles stopped the San Bernardino Grasshoppers, 10-3, at Mercer Island Grounds. The Screaming Eagles got a big game from Corey Ollerton, who was 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Screaming Eagles improved to a lofty 32-13.

With Mercer Island leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Ollerton came up to bat against San Bernardino pitcher Juichi Kanno. Ollerton hit a changeup to left-center for a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Screaming Eagles on top, 6-3.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Ollerton.
