The New Orleans Voodoo went down to defeat to Miguel Rubia and his Northern Virginia teammates. The final score was 6-2 in favor of the Rainbow Mermaids. The Rainbow Mermaids, now 8-2, have stormed out of the gates.

Rubia's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 6 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing 5 hits. Rubia, who won the Gold Ball in 2035, goes to 2-0 on the year with 18 strikeouts.
