Thunder Hawks Fall to .500 After Loss to Grasshoppers
|
The San Bernardino Grasshoppers eked out a 4-3 win versus the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks at Field of the Grasshoppers. Nobody did more than third baseman Pancho Espinoza, who captured player of the game honors. Júlio Antunez picked up the save for San Bernardino, his 16th of the year. The third-place Grasshoppers have won 4 straight.
Riley Rowbery hit a 2-run double off Josh Hall in the bottom of the first, which put the Grasshoppers in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Rowbery had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Espinoza told the San Bernardino News.
