The San Bernardino Grasshoppers knocked off the Chesapeake Continentals, 9-2, at Field of the Grasshoppers. Riley Rowbery, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason San Bernardino won. The right fielder was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. David Silva, the winner, improved to 4-1. He held Chesapeake to 1 earned run on 5 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. San Bernardino currently is in 4th place in the Premier AA at 17-15.
