Grasshoppers Clip Sonics in Tight Contest

The San Bernardino Grasshoppers picked up a win at Sonics Ballpark, knocking off the Atlantic City Sonics, 4-3. On the mound for San Bernardino was left-hander Tracy Cowdin, who played a pivotal role in the win. San Bernardino now sits at 14-14, while Atlantic City falls to 19-9.
It could have been a different outcome for San Bernardino, had it not been for Riley Rowbery, the 23-year old right fielder . Rowbery contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put San Bernardino up, 4-3.
"We take it day by day here," said Rowbery, "and today was a good one for us."
