Loss Extends Chesapeake Losing Streak
|
Westwood Sixshooters starter Pjotr Melis pitched a strong game against the Chesapeake Continentals at Sixshooters Stadium, leading the Sixshooters to a 1-0 win. Chesapeake has now lost 9 in a row.
The Sixshooters got a big at-bat from shortstop Jin-yong Ch'oe. For the game, Ch'oe was 1-3 with a home run. In the bottom of the third, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Westwood a 1-0 lead.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Ch'oe told the Westwood Chronicle.
