Dragoons Rally For Late Win Over Bulls

Mauro Jasso left his imprint on the 5-3 Louisiana win against the Mt. Vernon Bulls. Jasso, who is tied for 8th in the 3A in extra base hits with 11, was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Roy Lowe picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-1. Harley Hawk was tagged with the loss. Getting the save was Maverick McNealy, his 6th.
Yeow-whye Zhu, who is tied for 10th in the 3A in RBI with 16, contributed to the Louisiana win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"I really like what we did out there today," Zhu said after the game.
Louisiana occupies 6th place in the Menard's A at 14-11.
