The Yakima Hops coasted to a win over the San Bernardino Grasshoppers, 11-3. Armando Cedeño had a good day at the plate for Yakima. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Yakima is 9th in the Premier AA with a record of 10-16.
Yakima used the clutch hitting of Yi-da Chow to capture the win. The catcher drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to give the Hops the lead, 3-0. For the game, Chow had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
In comments to the Yakima Times, Chow admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
