The San Bernardino Grasshoppers picked up a win at Field of the Grasshoppers, knocking off the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 4-2. Starting pitcher José Rodríguez played a key role in the triumph. In 7.1 innings, Rodríguez surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Losses have been rare for the Screaming Eagles, who are now 14-6.
