84s Get Past Charleston for 1-0 Win
|
Zadock Dinkelmann pitched a gem to lead Greenville to a 1-0 victory over the Charleston Battery. Greenville reliever Sima Babic picked up the win, upping his record to 6-3. Kenete Daku shouldered the loss. Greenville now has a 3-game win streak.
Doug Allerdale was the walk-off hero for Greenville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the 84s catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Allerdale.
