Spann-Ford drives in 4 runs, Leads Screaming Eagles to Win
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles trumped the San Bernardino Grasshoppers, 9-3, at Field of the Grasshoppers. Mercer Island shortstop Brevyn Spann-Ford was named player of the game for his performance. He went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The hot start continues for the defending champion Screaming Eagles, who took their 14th win in 19 games this year.

Maxence Sultanbekov had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the fifth for Mercer Island. With the bases loaded and the Screaming Eagles leading 3-1, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
