Clark Belts Bunch of Base Hits
No matter what the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks threw at him today, Rio Clark hit it. He easily handled Thunder Hawks pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Grasshoppers to a 5-4 triumph at Thunder Hawks Ballpark.

"The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Clark's quip, Thunder Hawks skipper John Anderson said he "would take him up on that next time."

Rio Clark singled in the 1st, tripled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

Presently Clark is batting .439 with 1 home run and 7 RBIs. He has played in 16 games and scored 9 times.
