|
The Westwood Sixshooters powered past the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 8-7, at Sixshooters Stadium. Oki Hai was 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3, to lead the charge. Westwood reliever Binjimen Victor picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-1. Bing-zhong Qiu was collared with the loss. With the win, Westwood improves its record to 8-5.
Late-game drama came in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and a runner on 1st, the batter, Sean Wallace, hit a single. It helped Westwood seize the win.
