López slugs 2 home runs as Sixshooters Squeeze Past Springfield

The Springfield Shooters and Westwood Sixshooters provided some drama at Springfield Stadium.
The Westwood Sixshooters downed the Springfield Shooters, 6-5, at Springfield Stadium. Alfonso López led the way, going 2-for-4 for Westwood. Westwood reliever Tyrone Poole picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Kuberabandhu Kasturirangan took the loss. The save went to Binjimen Victor, his 4th this season.
López contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Westwood in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, López took a fastball from Kuberabandhu Kasturirangan and stroked the home run to right-center. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Sixshooters to leap in front, 4-1.
"I like our moxie," said Sixshooters manager Cedric Fields.
With the win, Westwood boosts its record to 6-4.
