New Orleans Voodoo starter Gilberto Medina was in fine form against the Portland Evergreens at Evergreen Park, leading his team to a 4-2 win. New Orleans is now 46-46, while Portland is 57-35.
Baio Jianbua's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a slider from Branlyn Jaraba for a 2-run single. It put New Orleans in front, 4-2.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Medina.
