Jim McMahon helped his team muscle past the San Bernardino Grasshoppers, 6-0. In the game, the Yakima left fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times. The Hops are off to a nightmare start as they look to defend their championship, notching only their 1st win in 3 games.

Juan Arellano was vital part of the Yakima win. He was 2-4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times. In the top of the fourth with one out, Arellano hit a run-scoring double. It made the score 2-0, in favor of the Hops.
