The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats trumped the Olympia Ogres, 8-5, at The Ogre Den. Lake Minnetonka left fielder Alfonso Cabedo was named player of the game for his performance. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner was Alberto Ramos in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Dong-min Kim took the loss.

Lake Minnetonka used the timely hitting of Bill Kirby to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put the Love Boats on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Kirby said after the game.
