The Olympia Ogres and Tacoma Fur Traders cranked it up at The Ogre Den.

The Tacoma Fur Traders grabbed a 7-3 win over the Olympia Ogres at The Ogre Den. Tacoma left fielder António Salas was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 to earn player of the game honors. Ryan Carr, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.

Tacoma used the timely hitting of Stanley Zijm to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Fur Traders on top, 6-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The beers will taste better tonight after this win," said the ever-candid Salas.

The Fur Traders saw their record improve to 39-36.
