Victory Over Youth Takes Northville to 52-22
|
A nice crowd turned out to see the Northville Eclipse and Phoenix Hotspur Youth clash at Grenadiers Ballpark.
Northville Eclipse starter Pi-ao Tsao turned in a top-notch performance against the Phoenix Hotspur Youth at Grenadiers Ballpark. The result was a win for the Eclipse, 6-2. Tsao picked up the win for Northville, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 6-2.
Northville relied on the hitting of Chris McBride to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Eclipse on top, 3-2. For the game, McBride had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Tsao.
The Eclipse saw their win-loss record go to 52-22. At the same time, the Youth fell to 38-36.
