Lake Minnetonka Love Boats starter Alan Halsall was in fine form against the Irving Blue Sox at Blue Sox Ballpark, leading his team to a 5-3 win. Getting the save was Takejiro Masuda, his 14th. The Love Boats improved to 42-31.

Lake Minnetonka used the timely hitting of Arto Toikka to capture the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Love Boats on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

Halsall called the triumph "a good team win."
