Love Boats Continue Skid Thanks to Capmany, Shuckers
Biloxi and Lake Minnetonka engaged in a slugfest at Heron Field.

The Biloxi Shuckers outscored the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats, 16-12. Jesús Capmany led the way, going 4-for-5 for Biloxi. The winner was Biloxi reliever Dennis Wion, now 2-2. The loser was Carlos López.

Tied up with the Love Boats in the top of the fourth inning, the Shuckers got a boost from left fielder Ed Roth. With the bases loaded, Roth saw a full count fastball from Carlos López and hit a 2-run single to break the stalemate and put Biloxi on top, 4-2.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Capmany said.

Lake Minnetonka has now lost 7 straight.
