The New Orleans Voodoo grabbed a 5-4 win over the Chicago Silver Sox at The Voodoo Lounge. New Orleans third baseman Shimei Miura was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk to earn player of the game honors. New Orleans is in 5th place in the Premier League with a record of 44-44.

Jorge Alejándrez was the walk-off hero for New Orleans. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Voodoo first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Miura described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
