|
Virginia Beach right-hander Manuel Ruíz was sensational in shutting out the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats, 4-0. Stan Lowe got credit for the save for Virginia Beach. It was his 11th of the year. Virginia Beach has now reeled off 7 straight wins.
Virginia Beach used the timely hitting of Mulia Muljana to capture the win. The third baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Whales ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was an important one.
