Love Boats Deal Eclipse 8-3 Setback

The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats downed the Northville Eclipse, 8-3, at Old-Timers Park. Alfredo Garza led the way, going 4-for-5 for Lake Minnetonka. Carlos López got the win, improving to 5-3. He held the Eclipse to 3 earned runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 4. Lake Minnetonka has now won 3 straight, while the Eclipse have lost 3 in a row.
Frans Boone was 1 for 4. He scored 2 runs for Lake Minnetonka. In the top of the second, with the teams deadlocked, 0-0, Boone delivered for the Love Boats. His run-scoring ground out put Lake Minnetonka on top, 1-0.
