Love Boats Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
Fans who gathered at Old-Timers Park saw a good contest between the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats and Northville Eclipse.

In a low-scoring clash between Lake Minnetonka and Northville, pitcher Albert Pérez was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Lake Minnetonka in the 3-2 win. Lake Minnetonka reliever Mark Jacobson picked up the win, bumping his record to 4-1. Chang-hoon Park was collared with the loss.

Lake Minnetonka took a 2-1 lead on Braxton Cottongame's 17th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Cottongame hit in the top of the ninth, left Northville pitcher Andrew Phillips shaking his head.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Cottongame said.

The Love Boats have an impressive 36-22 record.
