Late Rally by Farmers Secures Win
The Lancaster Farmers bested the Olympia Ogres, 9-7, at The Ogre Den. Yaakov Shmerkin was named player of the game. He went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Lancaster reliever Sean Miranda picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Samuel Sellier absorbed the loss. Olympia's current losing streak is now 4 games.

Had Dragoljub Kandic not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Kandic hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 8-7, in favor of the Farmers.
